The Ssangyong Katana is built around twin loongs worked into the tsuba, with a fuller running through the Damascus blade to give the long surface an additional line of structure. The two elements belong together: one establishes the subject, the other changes the blade’s visual rhythm.
A wood-and-copper saya carries the same material contrast into the mount. Clay tempering and the bo-hi are listed as blade details; the paired loong fitting remains the product’s primary visual signature.
