Smite Katana
Smite Katana
The Smite Katana is distinguished by the hammered treatment along its spine and the bright red lacquered saya beneath it. Those two surfaces give the piece its character: one tactile and worked, the other smooth and emphatic.
Copper fittings carry the warmth of the red mount into the guard and handle, while the Damascus blade retains its own layered pattern. The design is strongest in the contrast between the visible spine treatment and the clean lacquered saya.
