Shinrin Katana – A Tribute to the Spirit of the Forest

The Shinrin Katana is inspired by the spirit of the forest, blending nature’s beauty with the artistry of traditional swordmaking. This hand-forged T10 steel katana is a true homage to the natural world, combining strength, elegance, and intricate design.

T10 Steel Blade with Clay Tempering

Crafted from T10 steel, the blade is treated with a clay-tempering process that reveals a striking hamon (temper line) after polishing. The blade also features a unique Bo-hi design, reduces the weight of the katana while shifting the balance closer to the hand.

Shinrin-Themed Parts

The hollowed-out leaf design of the handguard (tsuba) and the tree totem engraving on the fuchi and kashira bring the essence of the forest into the sword. The leaf-shaped menuki on the handle further reflects the theme, creating a cohesive, nature-inspired look.

The Shinrin Katana is more than just a weapon—it's a beautiful representation of nature’s power and grace, perfect for collectors who appreciate both form and function.
