Gilded Bloom Katana
Gilded Bloom Katana
The Gilded Bloom Katana is led by a gilded floral round tsuba and dark wood koshirae. The guard supplies the first point of focus, while the patterned blade and hand-polished surface keep the overall piece from becoming purely ornamental.
The lacquered wood saya and 60 HRC blade give the floral mount a practical, material frame. Its identity is better expressed through the gilded guard and dark wood than through a broad flower label.
