Genji Katana
The Genji Katana is distinguished by its Kobuse construction and Gunome hamon, giving the blade a structural and visual identity beyond a general folded-steel description. The patterned carbon-steel blade is paired with a mount that lets those details remain legible.
Brass, gilded, and silver fittings add measured variation to the koshirae, while the rayskin-covered wood saya keeps the finish grounded. This is the construction-led member of the collection, with the blade structure doing more of the storytelling.
