Named after the legendary blade that tamed storms. Ame no Murakumo no Tsurugi — “Sword of the Gathering Clouds of Heaven.” A name that carries more than sound. It carries memory.
This katana is forged using the rare Go-mai (五枚合) method — five layers of steel, each placed with purpose.
Hard steel at the edge, soft at the core, reinforced sides. It’s not excess. It’s design. Layers that don’t just hold the edge — they hold intention. The cut is real, but the balance is the real achievement.
The steel is high-carbon. Sharp. Focused.
Clay tempered, of course — because edge and spine must disagree to coexist.
