The sword’s tsuba (guard) is shaped like a butterfly with outspread wings, featuring a turquoise design accented with vibrant orange edges—a beautiful representation of her breathing style. While the blade itself lacks the sharp edge of a typical katana, it functions more like a stinger, perfectly suited for Shinobu’s swift and precise thrusting attacks, delivering her signature wisteria-based poison with deadly accuracy.

For practicality, we’ve retained a traditional blade edge in this replica, ensuring it remains functional while still honoring the unique aesthetic and purpose of Shinobu’s iconic weapon. This design strikes the perfect balance between artistic authenticity and utility.
